U.S. Marines AH-1J Cobra
The Red Sea, 30 May 2003 —
Flight deck personnel prepare to put wheels under an AH-1J Cobra from Marine Attack Light Helicopter Squadron Two Sixty Nine (HMA/L-269). HMA/L-269 is aboard USS Kearsarge
(LHD-3) in support of President George W. Bush’s visits to Sharm el-Sheik, Egypt and Aqaba, Jordan for summit meetings with Arab leaders. Kearsarge is on its way home from a deployment in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.
