Marine Corps Air Station New River, North Carolina, 08 March 2007 — Two pilots with Marine Medium Helicopter Squadron 261 conduct pre-flight checks within an AH-1 Super Cobra attack helicopter, aboard Marine Corps Air Station New River, North Carolina. The Marines and sailors of HMM-261 are currently training for an upcoming deployment as the Air Combat Element for the 22d Marine Expeditionary Unit scheduled later this year.
