USS Bonhomme Richard (LHD 6)
Indian Ocean, 16 January 2005 —
The amphibious assault ship USS Bonhomme Richard
(LHD 6) underway in the Indian Ocean. The Bonhomme Richard Expeditionary Strike
Group is currently operating in the Indian Ocean off the coast of Indonesia and
Thailand in support of Operation Unified Assistance, the humanitarian operation
effort in the wake of the Tsunami that struck South East Asia.
