USNS Flint (T-AE 32)

South China Sea, 06 April 2007 — A helicopter assigned to the “Black Knights” of Helicopter Antisubmarine Squadron (HS) 4 clears the flight deck of the Military Sealift Command (MSC) ammunition ship USNS Flint (T-AE 32). The Black Knights helped move over one million pounds of munitions off of the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76). The weapons off load signals the beginning of the end of the carriers surge deployment. The Ronald Reagan Carrier Strike Group is underway in the South China Sea on a surge deployment in support of U.S. military operations.
