Philippines, 26 April - 10 May — Senior Airman Jonathon McCoy, a 33d Rescue Squadron pararescue specialist from Kadena Air Base, Japan, climbs a rope ladder into an HH-60 "Pavehawk". Exercise Balikatan 2001, a combined joint exercise of the Republic of the Philippines and the U.S., is being held in the Philippines.
