Fallon Naval Air Station, Nevada, USA, 22 June 2001 — An HH-60 helicopter heads back to home station after successfully hitting a simulated target at range B-17 during a hellfire demonstration for the exercise. Desert Rescue IX is the premiere search and rescue (SAR) training exercise involving Navy, Army, Air Force, and Marine personnel. It is conducted at the ranges of Fallon.
