USS Essex (LHD 2), 21 January 2006 — A CH-53E Sea Stallion with Marine Medium Helicopter Squadron 262 (Reinforced) performs deck landing qualifications aboard the USS Essex Jan. 21. The squadron is currently serving as the Aviation Combat Element of the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit based in Okinawa, Japan.
