Twentynine Palms, California, 17 May 1997 — A CH-53E Super Stallion helicopter lowers a Humvee to the landing pad during Helicopter Support Team Training at the Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center, during Combined Arms Exercise 5-97. The Marine Air Ground Task Force exercise is allowing these aviators from Marine Heavy Helicopter Squadron 461, Marine Corps Air Station New River, North Carolina, to practice their desert warfare.
