Slant is the vertical angle of the wing, with respect to a horizontal line drawn through the fuselage. The following illustration shows examples of wing slants.
There are many variations and shapes of wings. There are four basic wing shapes: straight, swept-back, delta, and semidelta. The following illustration shows wing shapes.
